TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR B’S BEAMS
Welcome to B’s Beams! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the aesthetic services we provide. By accessing our website or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use our services.
1. Services Provided
B’s Beams specializes in professional laser aesthetic treatments, including but not limited to:
- Laser hair removal
- Laser tattoo removal
- Scar reduction
- Skin rejuvenation
All services are provided by trained professionals using Health Canada–approved equipment.
2. Eligibility and Medical Disclosure
To receive treatment, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18)
- Complete a mandatory client intake form
- Disclose all medical conditions, medications, or treatments that could affect your eligibility for laser procedures
We reserve the right to decline treatment if we determine it may pose a health risk or is contraindicated for your condition or skin type.
3. Booking and Cancellation Policy
- Booking: Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person. Some treatments may require a consultation prior to booking.
- Deposits: A deposit may be required to secure your appointment.
- Cancellations: You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- No-Shows: No-shows or cancellations within less than 24 hours may result in a fee or forfeiture of your deposit.
- Late Arrivals: Arriving late may shorten your session or require rescheduling.
4. Payment and Refunds
- Payment: Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept interac, all major credit cards, e-transfers and cash.
- Refunds: Due to the nature of aesthetic treatments, we do not offer refunds for completed procedures.
- Prepaid Packages: Prepaid services are non-refundable but may be transferable at our discretion.
- Products: Unopened retail skincare products may be returned within 14 days with original proof of purchase.
5. Informed Consent & Results
Prior to treatment, clients must:
- Read and sign a Treatment Consent Form
- Understand the risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
- Acknowledge that results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare
Multiple sessions are typically required for optimal results. We make no guarantee as to specific outcomes.
6. Aftercare and Client Responsibility
Clients must follow all pre- and post-treatment care instructions provided. Failure to do so may reduce results or increase the risk of complications. We are not liable for adverse effects caused by non-compliance with aftercare.
7. Safety and Contraindications
Laser treatments carry inherent risks, including but not limited to skin irritation, burns, pigmentation changes, or scarring. You agree to inform us of:
- Recent sun exposure or tanning
- Any products recently used on the treatment area
- Use of medications such as Accutane, antibiotics, or blood thinners
- Underlying health concerns such as epilepsy, HSV, pregnancy or nursing
8. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.
9. Limitation of Liability
B’s Beams and its practitioners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or misuse of services or products. You assume full responsibility for your decision to undergo any treatment.

All content on this website — including logos, images, text, and branding — is the intellectual property of B’s Beams and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our province.
